US EPA Method 3C/Method 25C

These methods are typically used for landfill monitoring.

Method 3C analyzes for carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrogen (N2), and oxygen (O2) with a range of concentrations of 500ppm to 75%.

Method 25C analyzes for carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and non-methane organic compounds (NMOC) with a range of concentrations of 30ppmC to 50,000ppmC.

Carbon monoxide (CO) concentrations can also be obtained from the 25C analysis if requested.

BTU values can be calculated from 3C results.

  • Tanks can be sent pre-charged with helium to avoid flammable shipping (see Flammable Shipment page for more info)
  • Samples can be composited with 1L of sample for each site
  • Equipment is designed for safety in areas of potential high methane concentrations
